Charles Bullet
Charles Bullet, born in Bellevue, Kentucky in 1860, painted landscapes around Ohio, Florida and Kentucky. Bullet exhibited at The Travel Art Galleries in Cincinnati Ohio as well as in Ft. Myers, Florida. He spent his winters in Florida beginning in the late 1800s. The Florida paintings by Bullet are significant since they document the changing landscape of Florida; from the early days of scant settlement to the beginnings of the large development of Florida. Charles Bullet hails from a family of artists. His father, also a Charles Bullet, was a sculptor in Cincinnati, while Bullet’s son, Charles Bullet III was a metalworker who was a veteran of WWI. Bullet died in 1927 in Florida. Sold works:
