Elizabeth White
White was born in 1893 in Sumter, South Carolina. She studied at Columbia University and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and under the artists Alfred Hutty and Wayman Adams. She exhibited at Duke University, Gibbes Museum of Art, Mint Museum of Art, Smithsonian Institution Print Gallery, Southern States Art League, University of North Carolina, and Venice (Italy) Biennale. She died in 1976.
