Elizabeth Ogilby
Elizabeth Ogilby was born circa 1913 in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She graduated from Sweet Briar College in 1934, and later married William Sands. There are records of Ogilby exhibiting her oil paintings throughout the Washington D.C. area extensively in the late 1930s and early 1940s, including one exhibit at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Little is known of Elizabeth Ogilby after her marriage to Sands.
